Helping Children
and Teens
A teenager
faces new pressures of high school and dating.
A college
student confronts the challenge of saying “no” to temptations away
from home.
A preteen
struggles to live with the sadness of her parent’s separation.
Life is
challenging for today’s children and young adults. Kids, and the
adults who care about them, seek resources to help young people
cope, learn to make good choices, find faith, and see life as full
of possibility.
Guideposts
understands. Our Youth Ministries reach out to kids in ways they can
relate to. The following are provided, free of charge.

Teen Chat: A
safe place on-line where kids can express their concerns, hopes, and
fears. Adults monitor the chat and provide support when needed.

Phone
Friends: A story, Bible verse, message, song, or “Cool Rule” is
new each week, and available via a phone call. Phone Friends can
be reached at 1-800-233-0773.
