This has been a manna year for JULIA ATTAWAY of New York City, who has practiced looking to God for sustenance one day at a time. “When life is tough, I find it helps to take time to consciously look for the bright spots in each day. There is always something to be thankful for,” she writes. Her son John has returned home from a year in a residential placement, and Elizabeth continues to thrive at MIT. Mary's dancing grows stronger and more beautiful, while Maggie and Stephen are as wonderfully quirky as ever. Julia is in the process of returning to full-time work, so changes lie ahead for her three homeschooled children.
