Searching for Names and Phrases
Some key words are common and may cause a large amount of information to come
back from a search. Use quotation marks to narrow your search when looking
for a phrase, name, or the title of an article. For example, if you enter:
"Our Family Tree", our system will search for the exact phrase
"Our Family Tree." When searching for a name, type the name in
quotation marks. Example - "John Doe".
And
Use the word and to refine your search. For example, if you're looking for articles about faith and joy, typing faith and joy will retrieve articles containing both the words faith and joy; just entering "joy" would retrieve articles containing just the word "joy".
Wildcard
Using a * matches a string of characters in any position. Wildcard: hap* (will match happiness and happy)
Multiple words/phrases
"faith and joy" AND Christmas
